The new wands are: - light: fires a damaging, blinding beam of light. - quicksilver: fires a damaging beam of 22:52:44 unstable magic that dispels effects, like a potion of cancellation. - disruption: fires a damaging beam of magic that dazes foes. (this one might not make it to trunk.) - rending: fires a blast of mini-distortion, damaging & blinking targets it hits. - gravitation: fires a gravitational blast, pulling targets into the middle and doing impact damage. - immobilizing (?): hits everything in a 3x3 area with entangling roots, constricting them. (it's 22:52:44 jorgrun's roots ability + old BVC.) if you really have a bunch of time, it'd be super cool to get new beam effects for light specifically. existing ones are in https://github.com/crawl/crawl/tree/master/crawl-ref/source/rltiles/effect - ideally it'd be neat to get 8-directional 'beam of light' variants.
