If you map "." from the numpad to "." not from the numpad, it'll work for waiting one turn, but it still won't function to stop your projectiles the same way as if you throw something and then press "." not from numpad. It seems to just do nothing. 02:19:29 playing around with it some more, it seems there's no way to remap the ability to control projectiles to any key other than the period near the alphabet. That's unfortunate for me because I play with my right hand on the numpad, nowhere near that, and so it really breaks throwing for me. 02:23:39 <03wheals> i think this is a situation where you actually want to use keymaps, specifically a targeting keymap 02:47:46 Unstable branch on cbro.berotato.org updated to: 0.28-a0-60-g54b5640690 (34) 02:53:50 Monster database of master branch on crawl.develz.org updated to: 0.28-a0-60-g54b5640690 03:07:13 <09gammafunk> Release post: http://crawl.develz.org/wordpress/0-27-the-cursed-flame 03:14:17 <03wheals> tournament 03:15:44 <09gammafunk> !time 03:15:45 <04Cerebot> Time: Jul 30, 2021, 07:15:44 AM, UTC. Codes on for numpad keys coincide with codes of some F1-F12 buttons. 05:12:33 Oh, nvm, it looks like F1-F12 keys got new codes as well, so I just have to change some of my macros. 05:17:09 Bug report: raw input doesn't accept '-' and '+' from numpad. 05:25:10 <03wheals> works for me on webtiles (firefox cao trunk), what's your setup? 05:27:25 <03wheals> (OS could be helpful as well, i'm on windows) 05:31:22 firefox cko trunk 05:31:31 linuxmint 05:36:53 Ok, if in trunk F1-F12 do really have codes different from all numpad codes, then for 0.27 numpad '-' coincides with F8 and I had macros for both keys previously. 05:38:23 '*' equals F5, '/' equals F2, '+' is F6 05:38:55 Unplayable. I have to change my macros as well as habits right before the tourney. 05:40:14 Unless "fix: map keycodes for numpad number keys only" wasn't applied on CKO yet? 06:15:25 Another major issue: in 0.27 numpad '+' and '-' doesn't cycle through monsters in targeting mode. 06:16:35 They do work in trunk. 06:16:52 Guys, when Nemelex Choice is selected, do the games that were won prior the selection count? 06:17:29 no 06:17:41 Hm, that means I have a problem. 06:18:01 Since nowhere on the scoreboard you can find when past Nemelex Choice was selected 06:18:31 I'm trying to write a Nemelex tracker for our clans. 06:18:59 it would be so nice if at least the nemelex data were available in more complete from as JSON or something. 06:19:09 Is it possible to grab current nem choices for each time new game is started? 06:19:30 Why for each time game is started? 06:19:51 I can't really know when games are started anyway. 06:20:26 Then you would know whether the game you started is nem's or not. 06:21:17 <12ZureaL> I just noticed cbr2 isn't in the credits, it's still got cbro in it. Where do I file a bug report? lol 06:21:29 Oh, I see, it must be started _after_ Nemelex's Choice is selected. 06:22:17 There's one issue that if I miss a Nemelex's Choice selection, I'll never learn when it was selected. 06:22:24 Because the scoreboard just doesn't give the info. 06:22:55 Everything else is in the logs or milestones, but this one piece is missing. 06:24:35 Experimental (bcrawl) branch on underhound.eu updated to: 0.23-a0-4217-g7c68dc2372 06:26:44 I guess I agree that this would be useful information to have. I seem to remember that irc had some messages when new nemchoice was announced. 06:28:06 I'll raise this as an issue on GitHub. 06:28:26 <12ebering> the new choice is posted on the main website 06:28:28 <12ebering> on the index 06:28:33 I know. 06:28:35 <12ebering> oh, you want the internal time 06:28:39 But what about _past_ choices. 06:28:49 <12ebering> they're also on the website... 06:29:03 <12ebering> it shows them, with counts of how many player and clan scores are awarded 06:29:05 I need the _time_ when they become "active". 06:29:19 Well, actually, I can figure this out too... 06:29:24 Hm. 06:29:27 Didn't think of that. 06:29:32 <12ebering> you can just record the first time your polling sees it 06:29:42 Got it 06:29:46 <12ebering> just please don't hammer our website 06:30:03 <12ebering> (the website only updates once every 5 minutes or so) 06:30:36 I think reading two pages every 5 minutes doesn't count as "hammering the website"? 06:30:45 <12ebering> it does not 06:30:50 Great. 06:31:05 I'm not sure I manage to have this completed before the start anyway. 06:31:12 It's getting little more complicated than I thought. 06:34:05 I'm not really sure, are the NC combos pre-determined before the tournament? 06:50:49 The set of them. 07:00:45 <12ebering> The list of possible combos is. The actual choices are made dynamically 07:09:01 Is there a description of how NC are chosen and when they are "activated"? 07:09:12 Doesn't seem to be on the Rules page. 07:12:14 Ah, there was description in the previous tournament scoreboard. 07:12:32 "The first Nemelex' Choice combo is chosen at the start of the tournament, and after that each one is chosen when the previous one is won for the first time. Each combo remains valid until it has been won eight times." 07:12:46 Is that still valid? 07:13:23 <12ebering> It’s now nine times but yes 07:13:34 Ah, ok 07:14:06 But I still need to scrape the time. 07:14:20 Or do I? 07:15:02 The next combo is valid exactly from the time of the 9th win, then I don't. 07:16:01 I mean 1st win 07:17:38 <12ebering> You can look in the dcss_scoring repo I don’t remember exactly what time the database picks 07:18:00 Not dcss_tourney? 07:18:07 <12ebering> If you record the first time you see the new combo online you won’t incorrectly count a game 07:18:12 <12ebering> Oh, yeah, tourney 07:18:48 The problem is that it relies on timely updates. 07:18:56 If my system goes down, I can miss things 07:40:40 Yay, malformed game log lines in CBR2 log 07:43:13 -!- allbery_b is now known as geekosaur 07:54:00 <12ZureaL> what would cause that on CBR2? 07:54:55 No idea. 08:08:34 time = datetime.utcnow() ... I guess this is how the time is determined. 08:08:44 So it depends on the time of running the scoring script. 08:35:21 <12ZureaL> hopefully it's not a Python problem 08:36:37 <12ebering> Mandevil: yes that seems correct, it takes the time the server saw the win 08:36:58 <12ebering> @ZureaL none of the official scripts have had any issues with the cbr2 log, neither sequell nor the tournament 08:37:10 <12ebering> without a line number and which log file Mandevil thinks is malformed, shrug 08:37:18 <12ZureaL> thanks 08:43:42 <06advil> None of these keys should be affected on 0.27, have you tried a force reload? 08:44:11 <06advil> That was in reply to Yermak 08:47:06 <06advil> What keycode does it show for -? 08:49:00 ebering: Seems at line 7447 there starts a cluster of malformed lines. 08:49:05 (0.26 games log) 08:49:21 I might try reload the log in case something happened on my end. 08:49:43 <12ebering> please do 08:53:13 Hm, the file looks OK after reload 08:53:19 hm I just had a somewhat horrifying thought 08:53:21 No idea how this can happen 08:53:50 The files are even the exact same size. 08:54:58 Yermak: the bug is that if you open trunk, and then open 0.27, it apparently doesn't reset key handling 08:55:16 Yermak: so the workaround for now is to fully reload before opening 0.27 08:55:41 I can probably figure out a fix to commit to trunk for this 08:56:08 <12ebering> while you do, can you set the tournament reminder? 09:15:17 sure 09:15:55 <12ebering> ❤️ 09:17:43 <12ebering> ??rebuild 09:17:43 <04Cerebot> rebuild[1/2]: http://crawl.akrasiac.org/rebuild/ http://underhound.eu:81/rebuild/ https://cbro.berotato.org/rebuild/ http://crawl.xtahua.com/rebuild/ https://crawl.kelbi.org/rebuild/ Bug gammafunk, advil, |amethyst, or Nap.Kin for CDO.
