So after taking some time to think through how the dreamshard amulet could be streamlined, I've re-implemented a new version of it. The goal was to retain the strategic and gameplay elements, whilst cutting away a lot of the 'fluff'. Having it's own branch was cool, but I appreciate the reasons why that was perhaps a bit much. Anyway, the new version is in the PR, and effectively replaces the journey into th 08:07:05 s with a strong heal (i.e. a very similar gameplay outcome). Some other elements are cut (hp and mp regen base type, restoring mp, loot, using a portal/new branch to cause the escape/heal) and one element added (a modest number of dream-themed allies as part of the effect).
